Group Home

LCMI had the vision to establish group homes where we could welcome children with special needs, in order to give them an opportunity to grow in a loving Christian environment with godly home parents.

Our model is to establish small homes with existing families, where children are able to receive personal care and be a part of a loving family. The small family-home model allows children to:

  • Experience a sense of inclusion and family
  • Have an opportunity to receive an education
  • Develop life skills that will give them a greater degree of independence
  • Prepare for adulthood
  • Learn about Jesus

For years LCMI had the desire to open Special Needs group homes, and in 2015, the Lord opened the door for the very first group home to be established. LCMI partnered with a couple in North India who shared the same vision to provide care for special needs children, and the first home was launched on June 9th, 2015. The home is called “Aasha ka Ghar”, or “Home of Hope”.

Three special needs children, one boy and two girls, live at Aasha ka Ghar, along with the home parents and their daughter.

Please continue to pray for this new and growing ministry.
